How to plant lemon in a pot – perfume and decorate your home
Sometimes our house takes on an unpleasant smell, or it just doesn’t smell at all! It is a reality, which could have a simple solution: Plant lemon in a cup. Yes, you don’t need to put a flavoring in every corner, you just need a touch of nature.
Why lemon?
For starters, it is an excellent fruit. According to the Spanish Nutrition Foundation, this citrus fruit is rich in B vitamins (B1, B2, B3 and B6), as well as vitamin C and P.

How to plant lemon in a cup?
- Remove the seeds of about 10 to 5 lemons. Make sure they are complete, neither divided nor cut and place them in a glass with clean water to hydrate them.

- Drain the seeds and remove excess water with a paper napkin.
- Remove the water from the bowl and place black soil, it must be damp, although not excessively.
- Arrange the seeds in a circular shape, covering most of the soil or mouth of the cup.
- Cover with a small layer of etch.
- Between 9 to 15 days you will have the first plants peeking out. At this time, water with a spray bottle every morning and if possible at night.
- When the seedlings get in the way of each other, molt individually. You can sow them in a pot. Its growth is slow, it will take between 6 to 7 months and its maximum to be measured will be one and a half meters. Perfect for the house!
