10 Plants That Need Less Water to Live

Low-water plants are perfect for beginners and people with little time to care for them.

Below, we show you some plants that need less water and require less care.

1- SUCCULENTS

Also known as succulent or fleshy, they are especially versatile, as more than 800 species are currently known. They can be used as ornamental plants and, although they are quite resistant, we must offer them a comfortable environment for them to develop, completely avoiding frost.

2- CORAL BELLS

It is a flowering plant that is generally found in low mountainous areas. There are about 300 species, but all have the bell-shaped flower in common. In nature it is often surrounded by moss, so it needs more moisture than heavy watering.

3- DWARF PALM TREE

It has a size between 2 and 3 meters maximum, and its use is usually very common in ornamental gardens. It resists drought and has numerous qualities, among which its fruit stands out, with nutritional, antidiarrheal and astringent properties.

It is very resistant, it can withstand up to -7º C in winter, when we will not water it. It is in summer when we will water it more often to stimulate its growth.

There are 200 species, many of them used in landscaping. In addition to offering a pleasing visual effect, it can be played easily and at amazing speed.

8- TRUNK OF BRAZIL

A large space is recommended for it to grow properly. It does not need excessive watering. It is capable of removing chemicals such as formaldehyde, xylene, and toluene.
