5 Ways to Use Baking Soda in Your Garden

However, you should know that this ingredient is more useful than you imagine, as it is also useful for plant care.

1- Drive away pests: spread a little baking soda on the garden soil or pots. This will prevent ants and other plant-damaging insects from getting close.

2- Control parasites: add 1 tablespoon to 1 liter of water and spray a little on the surface of the substrate to eliminate parasites that make plants sick.

3- Eliminate fungus: Mix 1 gallon of water with 4 tablespoons of baking soda. Apply on your plants and fruit trees to combat black spots caused by fungi.

4- Prevent weeds – Put a thick layer of baking soda on the weed you want to kill. This will weaken between 2 or 3 days.

5- To nourish your plants: make your plants’ photosynthesis more optimal by spraying a little baking soda with vinegar. Spray on the leaves and see if this formula has been good for them (not all plants tolerate it). If you see an improvement, apply 1 time per week.
