A cutting is a piece of the stem of a plant that is planted in a pot until it forms its own roots. Once this is the case, it will no longer be a cutting, but a plant itself.

The procedure to obtain a cutting and reproduce a new plant is as follows :

You need to choose a mature mother plant that is at least 2 years old, healthy and strong.
Above any future shoots or nodes, you need to make a clean, straight cut with disinfected scissors or tweezers.
At the tip of the cuttings an oblique cut is made so that it rots when it gets wet.
We need to dip the cuttings in something that promotes their growth, like rooting hormones, these can be natural rooting agents, we recommend willow based rooting.
It can be placed in water or substrate in a pot.
