Math Tricks They Don’t Teach You In School
Are you a math lover but don’t know all the tricks with numbers? Then it’s time for you to learn these simple calculations! These tricks are so effective that you will not need a pencil or paper, your mind will be so agile that you will be able to achieve it.
If you’re not good at math, it’s not your fault. You just haven’t been taught tricks in school that do any simple calculations.
Genius Math Tricks Every Genius Should Know
Multiply large numbers:
Multiplying large numbers is not going to be a big problem anymore with this trick.
- For example, if we are going to multiply 98 X 92, subtract each figure from one hundred: 100 – 98= 2 and 100-92=8
- There would be 2 and 8 left as a result in each case.
- The next step is to add these two results, that is 2+8 =10 and then also subtract it from 100; the result is 90. Finally, multiply 2 X 8 (remember these two numbers resulted from the first process), which gives us 16 as a result.
- Done. We already have the complete result 9016, which is the result of multiplying 98 X 92. You can use this method with any number less than 100.
The table of 9
The table of 9 was, and still is, for almost everyone a headache. The bad thing is that the way they taught us was not correct, but there is an easier method that, if we had known it before, would have saved us a lot of trouble and many bad grades.
We’re still in time to help the little ones. In the following image, the process to follow is more than clear:
Multiply by 11
Finally, we give you a simple trick to multiply by 11.
In this example we are going to multiply 35 X 11. The numbers 3 and 5 would be the first and third digits of our result.
To find the second, just add them, that is, 3+5 is equal to 8. Then we already have the complete result: 35 X 11 gives 385.
