How to clean fabric car seat

You will need:

  • One liter of water;
  • Half a cup (tea cup) of white vinegar;
  • Half a cup (tea cup) of alcohol;
  • One tablespoon of baking soda;
  • A tablespoon of fabric softener;
  • A container for mixing;
  • A spray bottle;
  • A soft bristle brush;
  • A soft, clean cloth;


Before you start cleaning, you should make a solution that takes all of the above. After mixing them well, put them inside the spray bottle.

Shall we go through the cleaning step?

  1. First of all, considering that you have already used the vacuum cleaner, spray the solution prepared above all over the surface of the bench;
  2. Then, pass the soft brush gently on the seats, to preserve the fabric and without leaving it with polka dots;
  3. After that, pass the cloth to remove any dirt that is on the upholstery;
  4. Now, leave your car in a ventilated place to dry as quickly as possible. The best part of the homemade mixture above is that, in addition to disinfecting the seats well, it will leave a very pleasant smell.
