How to clean bathroom grout: vinegar + bleach
First, it is necessary to analyze whether the cleaning should be done. We have the habit of looking at a damaged, worn or old grout and wanting to get to work. Any expansion or deformation in the grout is related to climatic events, such as rainfall and temperature changes.
So, if you choose to replace the grout, repairing it is very simple. However, as with any manual work, some care is necessary. You can even hire a professional to do this service, however, if the grout just needs to be clean you can use our method.
You can combine vinegar with bleach. For this you will need:
- alcohol vinegar;
- Lemon bleach (to soften the vinegar smell)
- Old toothbrush;
- Clean, damp cloth.
Shall we go step by step?
- Apply vinegar all over the grout;
- Wait 10 minutes for it to act;
- Soon after, use the toothbrush to scrub;
- Now, apply the lemon bleach to remove the remaining dirt;
- Finish by passing the damp cloth to remove the product.
