Transform your Plastic Bottles into a Swan Pot
You will need:
Large detergent bottles
News paper
Toilet paper or kitchen towels
White glue or paste
Scissors and cutter
Recycled carton
Brush and acrylic paint: white, blue and light blue
Spray varnish
Duct Tape
Thick electricity wire
Step-by-step guide:
1.- With a marker, draw the swan’s design on the plastic bottle, cut the wings, the tail and leave the handle of the bottle to make what will be the neck of the swan. Check this step carefully to make the indicated cut, help yourself with scissors and a utility knife.
2.- Recycling cardboard, draw the wings and the tail of the swan, cut it carefully and glue it to each side of the detergent bottle (use adhesive tape to stick).
3.- To make the neck and head of the swan, you will use thick electricity wire, join it with adhesive tape and give it the shape, use newspaper to wrap it, and give volume and firmness to the neck, head and beak.
4.- In this step, it is important to cover the entire bottle with newspaper, use white glue or homemade paste. (do it inside and out).
5.- Cut medium pieces of toilet paper or paper towels, cover the entire swan, use white glue or paste.
6.- The entire swan must be covered with white paper and let all the work dry.
7.- Use white acrylic paint to paint the entire swan inside as well as outside, let it dry.
8.- Decorate with a thin brush, paint blue and light blue flowers. For the eyes, use marbles or glass beads, and paint it blue.
9.- When you finish decorating, varnish the entire swan so that the paint does not fall off.
