2 pounds small potatoes, washed and cut into large chunks
3 garlic cloves
Salt
1 cup of mayonnaise
1 tablespoon grainy Dijon mustard
1 cup chopped fresh basil
1 cup chopped fresh dill
2 minced garlic
Black pepper
1 pinch of crushed red pepper
1 lemon (juice)
Place the raw potatoes in a large saucepan filled with water and 1 pinch of salt. Boil potatoes over high heat 10 to 15 minutes, until tender. Drain the potatoes and place them in the hot saucepan with a lid.
Add the garlic, mayonnaise, mustard and olive oil to a food processor and blend until smooth. Add the cooked potatoes to a large serving bowl and mix together the mayonnaise base, basil, chives, dill, lemon juice, 1 pinch each of salt and pepper, and red pepper flakes.
Once everything is well combined, place the bowl in the refrigerator for a few hours to chill before serving.
