Homemade sanitary pills leave your bathroom well scented and totally disinfected!
One of the challenges we have when we clean our home is, without a doubt, leaving the bathroom, and especially the toilet, very clean, disinfected and scented. To do this, we bring you a homemade recipe to make pills that go in the toilet and act as a bactericide, fungicide and germicide.
The best thing is that with only 3 ingredients we can make these pills. They also last for 2 months, leaving the toilet clean and disinfected. An economic trick, sanitized and profitable.
In this recipe we will see how baking soda is very functional in the toilet, because it leaves it impeccable and totally disinfected.
Ingredients
- 1 stone of grated glycerin soap (200 gr.)
- 2 tbsp. of sodium bicarbonate
- 150ml Lavender (disinfectant)
- 1 liter of boiling water
Process
- First of all, we grate stone soap of any brand.
- Then, we put the liter of water to boil.
- Next step, in the blender glass we are going to liquefy the grated soap and the boiling water to make it faster and creamier. That is the texture that we achieve just by beating it for 1 to 2 minutes, however we can do it manually but it will take a little longer.
- Next, in a container place the lavender and the creamy mixture from the blender, stir very well. Remember, well mixed is essential to achieve the desired results.
- Meanwhile, in a separate glass we add the sodium bicarbonate dissolved in 200 ml. of water and then add it to the mixture little by little.
- We will observe that the mixture will begin to thicken with the baking soda, so we must do it little by little so that it is incorporated evenly.
- After this it is time to add the food coloring or some other dye (optional), lilac or purple.
- It is key to continue stirring well and consistently until you achieve the desired color, but remember that once it dries it becomes a little lighter. Therefore, if we want a more intense color, we must add a little more dye.
