3 simple and cheap homemade window cleaner recipes
Industrialized cleaning products are formulated with chemical active principles that harm nature and can also cause skin or respiratory allergies during their application. To avoid these situations, or if you are not satisfied with the final result of the products on the market, you can prepare a homemade cleaning solution:
1- Sodium bicarbonate solution
You need:
- water – 250ml
- baking soda – 10g (1 tablespoon)
- spray bottle
- alcohol vinegar – 10ml (optional)
Use:
- Mix 1 cup of water (250ml) and 1 tablespoon of baking soda (10g) in a spray bottle.
- To enhance this solution you can add 1 tablespoon of alcohol vinegar.
- Shake well before use.
2- Solution with cornstarch
You need:
- hot water – 500ml
- cornstarch – 5g (1 teaspoon)
- white vinegar
- paper towel or news paper
- spray bottle
Use:
- Mix 1 teaspoon (5 grams) of cornstarch in ½ liter of hot water and use a spray bottle to apply.
- Wait for it to dry.
- Finish the cleaning by rubbing the glass with a paper towel or newspaper soaked in white vinegar.
3- Vinegar solution
You need:
- apple cider vinegar – 30ml
- 1 lemon
- water – 40ml
- soft cloth
Use:
- Mix 3 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar (30 ml), the juice of 1 lemon and about 3 to 4 tablespoons of water.
- Apply with a spray bottle and then clean with a soft cloth.
