3 Tricks to remove scratches and bumps on wooden furniture
If you want to renew your furniture and remove the scratches and bumps that have accumulated over time.
You have come to the right place, because here we will show you the best tricks to eliminate all those imperfections and restore the splendor that they once had.
1- Beeswax Cream
To create this cream you must heat 3 tablespoons of beeswax in a bain-marie until it melts completely.
Once the above is done, color the mixture by adding natural brown or a crayon ( coffee ), trying to achieve the same tone as the furniture you want to fix.
When the mixture already has color, let it rest in a container until it achieves a solid structure. Afterwards, apply it in all the areas where it requires repair and leave it for a few minutes to work. As a final step, remove all residue with a clean cloth.
Remember that it is very important that you achieve a tone very similar to that of your furniture, otherwise, the solution could be worse than the problem, since it would make the imperfections more visible.
2- Coffee Paste
Grind up some beans or recycle the leftover ones you used in your morning cup of joe and add a few drops of flaxseed oil to them.
When the mixture is finished, spread it over all the areas where there are scratches or bumps, ensuring that they are completely covered. To finish, remove the remains, as they can remain attached to the furniture.
Although this method is very effective, it has the drawback that its duration is very short, so you must repeat it at least once a week.
3- Olive Oil and Toothpaste Mix
Mix a little olive oil and toothpaste until you get a smooth consistency. Subsequently, apply to the affected area and let stand for 5 minutes. To finish, use a clean cloth and remove the remains.
