With the help of a small shovel , make holes in the ground . Make sure you don’t damage the roots of the plant and that the holes are wide enough for water to seep through .
You will need to put the potted plant in a bucket of warm water . Make sure the liquid reaches the edge of the pot .
The plant should remain in this container until bubbles stop coming out of the air pockets in the soil .
To ensure that all the soil is perfectly moist , we recommend leaving the pot under water for 30 minutes after the bubbling has stopped.
When you see that the soil can no longer absorb any more water , place the block on a plate to drain .
Put the pot in a large plastic bag and seal it tightly . The objective is to give more moisture to the leaves of the plant and allow the roots to come into action . Make sure to keep the bag in a dark place.
The plant will remain in the bag until it begins to revive , which can take a few hours to a couple of days ; It all depends on the damage.
We recommend that you check the bag frequently to assess the progress of the plant . If after a few days the soil is still moist but the leaves are not hydrated , it means that it is already too late to rescue your plant . To prevent this from happening again, touch the plant’s soil frequently to make sure it’s moist . If there is no residue on your fingers when you do this, it means it needs water .
