How to make a liquid soap stain remover with bar soap
You will need (all with about $70):
- 3 large bars of soap (Zote or other), grated or chopped
- 1 large pot (5 liters minimum)
- 1 liter of white vinegar
- 50 grams of baking soda
- 2 1/2 liters of water (to boil)
- Water, the necessary
Procedure (the mixture yields approximately 16 L):
- Heat the water in a pot.
- Add the soap and stir constantly over low heat (approximately 2 hours) until the soap melts.
- Add vinegar and baking soda; Take care that the generated foam does not drain.
- Turn off the heat and let cool for 30 minutes.
- Pour the soap into plastic bottles, always 1/3 full.
- Reduce with water: 1 part soap, 2 parts water. (100 ml of soap x 200 ml of water).
- Let stand 12 hours before using.
- If you want to add an essence, you can do it, just take care that it is not in oil.
