What you should do to check if the honey you consume is pure
1.- Read the label of the honey you are going to buy
If the label says that corn syrup, commercial glucose or fructose was used for its preparation, do not buy it.
2.- Honey crystallizes when you put it in the refrigerator or fridge
If you notice that the honey you have does not go through this process, it means that it is not pure.
3.- Place 1 tablespoon of the honey you have in 1 glass of water and add 4 drops of iodine
If you notice that it acquires a blue color, it means that it is mixed with corn starch.
4.- Take 1 tablespoon of the honey you have and carefully approach a lighted match
Pure honey is flammable, so if nothing happens you will know the answer.
5.- Empty 1 tablespoon of the honey you have into 1 glass of water
