How to cut Glass Bottles fast and easy
Have you thought about cutting glass bottles to make some crafts, but you don’t know how to do it? It is simpler than it seems, so you will do it in a practical and safe way.
Cut a glass bottle with twine
You need:
- String
- Alcohol
- Glass bottle
- Water
- Match or Lighter
How to do it:
- Fill the water bottle to the height chosen for cutting.
- Wind the twine around the bottle tightly over the top of the water.
- Wet the rope with rubbing alcohol.
- Store alcohol away from the area where you are working.
- Place the bottle on a stable table.
- Light the match and bring it closer to the string. This will light up.
- Immediately after the fire burns out, place it in a tank of cold water.
- Wearing gloves, goggles and a mask, sand the edges and you’re done.
It’s very simple, just remember to take proper precautions with fire and glass edges.
