3 Tricks to remove the most difficult Stains from Pots and Pans

Here are 3 tricks to remove the toughest stains from pots and pans.

1- Detergent

This is one that many do not know, but it is the one that works best when you have a pan with fat. Especially when he’s super stuck and doesn’t come out with absolutely anything.

For this, we have to put 1 teaspoon of detergent in the pan on top of the fat. It is important that there is no water at all, as it complicates cleaning.

Above the detergent you should sprinkle a layer of fine salt, covering the entire surface. Then with a dry sponge, we remove all the fat without much effort. When you see that it does not have any fat, just rinse it with plenty of water.

2- Baking soda

We have already seen that salt is very good for removing all the fat, but there is one that never fails and that is baking soda. This paste that I am going to recommend is used to clean burnt or stained pots and pans after frying.

We just have to mix 2 parts of baking soda with 1 part of alcohol until it forms a paste.

Then we rub the paste on the burned part of the pan with a sponge, rinse and quickly dry well to avoid water stains.

3- Hand soap

Sometimes we forget to wash the pan that we just used. The bad thing is to forget about it for months, making the fat stick worse than it was.

For that kind of problem, we turn on a burner and bring one of the dirtiest parts of the pan closer to heat and soften the fat.

After a few seconds, we turn off the burner, and very carefully apply a little soap to the part that is very hot.

Finally, you rub quite hard with a steel sponge. You have to repeat this procedure several times, and you will notice that little by little your pan will look like new.
