How to Naturally Dye Easter Eggs
Use natural ingredients to create beautiful, non-toxic colors. Here are the recipes for each shade:
1️⃣ Red – Beetroot
👉 Chop one beetroot and boil it in 500 ml of water with 2 tablespoons of vinegar for 30 minutes. Strain and boil the eggs in the liquid for 10-15 minutes.
2️⃣ Purple – Red Onion Skins
👉 Boil the skins of 4-5 red onions in 500 ml of water with 2 tablespoons of vinegar for 30 minutes. Strain and soak the eggs overnight for a richer color.
3️⃣ Yellow – Yellow Onion Skins
👉 Boil the skins of 4-5 yellow onions in 500 ml of water with 2 tablespoons of vinegar for 30 minutes. Boil the eggs in the liquid for 10-15 minutes.
4️⃣ Golden – Turmeric
👉 Mix 3 tablespoons of turmeric in 500 ml of water + 2 tablespoons of vinegar. Boil the eggs for 10-15 minutes, then let them soak longer for a deeper color.
5️⃣ Green – Turmeric + Purple Cabbage
👉 Boil the eggs in turmeric dye, then soak them in purple cabbage juice for a few hours to achieve a green hue.
6️⃣ Blue – Blueberries
👉 Boil 200 g of blueberries in 500 ml of water + 2 tablespoons of vinegar for 30 minutes. Strain and let the eggs soak in the liquid overnight.
7️⃣ Deep Pink – Hibiscus Flowers
👉 Boil 3-4 tablespoons of hibiscus flowers in 500 ml of water + 2 tablespoons of vinegar for 30 minutes. Strain and leave the eggs to soak overnight.
