Vinegar has a great capacity to enhance the traditional cleaning that your laundry detergent can give you, to degrease stained or difficult clothes, and to give your clothes more color.
All you have to do is add 1/2 cup of vinegar to the next load of clothes you put in your washing machine or place it inside the place where you wash by hand.
- Garment bleach
Another effective trick that vinegar does on clothes is to whiten them. If you find yourself with a light or white garment that you need to give it life and more whiteness, then vinegar is the best option.
Many times the white clothes turn yellowish, and for this the vinegar will help you. You will only need to add 1 cup of vinegar to your washing machine and you will obtain a white worthy of a new garment.

And of course, vinegar also comes to help us with the most recurring problem of all in our clothes, which are stains. Stains that are difficult to remove will come to an end thanks to the vinegar.
Many times our clothes are stained with substances that we don’t even know what they are or how they are composed and that ruin our clothes. In these cases, you just have to soak the clothes in warm water with 1/2 cup of vinegar, and thus you will remove all the stains you want.
- Fabric softener
Vinegar also works as a fabric softener, as it is responsible for cleaning and removing soap residue that may remain on the fabrics of your clothes , among other things. In addition, it can perfectly replace softening chemicals.
If you wash in the washing machine, it will only be enough to put a few tablespoons of vinegar in the softener compartment, and if you do it by hand, you can put the tablespoons of vinegar in the place where you wash the clothes.
- Color reviver
Over time, garments tend to lose the vividness of their colors and the texture they originally had, that is why vinegar comes to save us and help us with this situation.
To use it effectively you need to place the garments in a large deep place like a bucket and add about 4 tablespoons of salt and 1/2 cup of vinegar. After this, you must mix it and let it rest for a few minutes. After a while you will see how the colors come alive again. Once the process is finished you can wash as usual.
- Wicks away sweat
In many of our garments, especially t-shirts, shirts or blouses, we find after a good time of use some sweat stains that are difficult to remove, but with vinegar you can do it without problems.
You just have to place the garments in a large place , pour the vinegar on top of the stains, let it rest for 15 minutes, and then you must fill the place with hot water for it to work.

Many of us love to be in contact with our pets, and while this is an adorable and irreplaceable thing that we will not stop doing, it becomes complicated when we want to wash our clothes due to their hair or lint.
