10 Homemade tricks to make your faucets shine like new

Over time, taps lose their shine, this is due to hard water, since the mineral components of the water cause wear.

Although it is true that constant maintenance and cleaning must be done, there are also products that may not achieve it. Therefore, there are homemade solutions that can give us excellent results.

Next, we show you some homemade tricks with cheap ingredients that we have at home.

1- Lemon

We take 1 lemon and cut it in half, then rub it over the tap and let it rest. Then, rinse with warm water and dry quickly with a dry cloth or cloth.

2- White vinegar

We just take a little white vinegar and mix it with a little water. Then, with the help of a sponge, apply the mixture and dry with a cloth. Can be repeated several times a week for best results.

3- Salt with vinegar

We mix both ingredients in a container and proceed to apply it to the affected areas. Then, let stand for 5 minutes and rinse with warm water. Finally, we dry with a clean cloth or rag.

4- Flour with vinegar

Just soak a small piece of cloth in vinegar and dip in the flour. Rub the faucet and leave for 5 minutes. Then rinse with warm water and dry with a dry cloth.

5- Salt water

We dilute 1 tablespoon of salt in 1/2 cup of hot water and rub the tap with the help of a sponge or cloth.

6- Baking soda with lemon

We mix the ingredients in a container and rub over the stains with the help of a toothbrush that we no longer use. Then rinse and dry with a dry cloth.

7- Baking soda with white vinegar

In a bowl, mix 1/2 cup of baking soda and 1 cup of white vinegar.
Then, let the mixture boil a bit. Then, we pour it into a bag and attach it to the tap.
We secure it with an elastic band to the faucet.
The recommendation is to soak it for at least 3 hours.
Every time we do it, we immediately rub with 1 brush to leave the faucet as good as new.

8- Coarse salt with vinegar

We form a paste and apply it to the surface so that it rests for 5 minutes. Then, rinse with warm water to remove the paste and dry with a dry cloth to obtain shine.

9- Detergent

Mix 2 cups of boiling water and 2 tablespoons of dishwashing detergent. This is a very useful technique that removes grease and makes the faucet shine.
